I have over 33 years of experience in the tourism industry as a professional bird guide. I earned the Diploma in Photography from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka in 2022
At the 5th Annual Sri Lanka Tourism Awards in 2011, organized by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, I was honored as the Most Outstanding Chauffeur Tourist Guide (Nature & Wildlife) In 2025 recognition of my exceptional service and contribution to nature-based tourism received Excellence in Wildlife Tourism Award in Sri Lanka.
